Several people have suggested we take the train out to the Mall of America, shop, and then get together for a meal. Is there interest in doing that instead of food and music in town? Should we do both?

Yes! I had already thought about doing this. OK, I’ve been told that 1) I can buy the same “stuff” at home (not entirely true); 2) It’s just a mall like any other mall (really?!); 3) Why would I want to visit a mall? These are questions posed to me by family and friends recently.
The answer to the last question is: because I’m on my own for once, and can shop for myself! The joy of contemplating that is immeasurable. And it strikes me as something obvious, interesting and fun to do in Minneapolis.
I’m game if there are others. And the idea of going out to eat afterwards is terrific. Sign me up, Phyllis

So other than what is planned does anyone know any must do places to go or restaurants around where we are staying? Also please contact me or post if there are groups within groups getting together. I must have missed some fun in Louisville when I only found out by cell or at the last minute some folks were doing something.
