The 2008 CMA Conference kicked off with a gala reception and town meeting at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Minneapolis. And hey, its wasn’t even cold, not even for this California boy! (Hi around 60).
However the locals say that will change in the days ahead, and they won’t let us leave without a little chill.
CMA Director Liz Sumner chaired the town meeting, which included some terrific, provocative results on the CMA’s recent survey of its members.
There was alot of terrific discussion, including the unveiling of the location and date of next year’s conference.
And I would have brought you a video interview with Liz herself, except my jet lag began kicking in (up since 4 this morning). Hopefully, we will get that in tomorrow.
But the conference space is beautiful, and it looks like we are in for an amazing 2 1/2 days of inspiration and terrific information.
